Stencil Tip from a Reader

April 20th, 2009 by admin

This is a comment I AquaMan recived and wanted to share with all you Brushed readers. This next section is copied from his exact words.

Hey Aquaman,
Ive found a few tricks for stencils.
First for shirts instead of using frisket to get hard lines on the edges, use clear contact paper. It can be picked up at Target or Kmart.
Second Public transit buses use a clear sticker type of cover to prevent graffitti on the windows of the buses . This happens to be perfect for making stencils.”

First BodyAir airbrushing experience

January 31st, 2009 by admin

This was my first experience using BodyAir, the color BA-204 Hot Pink Pantone 806.

The ink came out with ease, I was able to complete the entire operation in about three minutes before she got in an Olympic-Sized pool, filled with a variation of chemicals, for an entire two hours.

It was great, I was able to observe the entire episode and when she exited the water the hot pink was as brilliant as it was when I first airbrushed it on.

Try BodyAir for your self and let me know the results, Happy Airbrushing.

AquaMan got an airbrush!

January 16th, 2009 by admin

Yes, its true. I have managed to secure an airbrush and of course AquaFlow Ink. Now the exciting world of art has been opened to me. Today 1/16/09 I will begin by trial and error to myself; experiment at airbrushing. If anyone has any tips about stencils; I would greatly appreciate it. It will be read and posted for all the Brushed readers to see, so please post away. Wish me luck at this new skill I am learning, and maybe one day master.

Pressure Washing Part 1

January 16th, 2009 by admin

In the words of Mr. Donald Warren.
“I am not sure what exactly the area of pressure washing the question is in refference to.
I will make the assumption this is in relationship to the mentioned Lacquerol Removable Paints.
We sell to Holywood movie sets where they will paint cars, airplanes, buses, helicopters for filming.
A well known artist in Canada will pressure wash the Lacquerol paint off of the vehicle after the filming.
This eliminates the need to use a liquid remover and the mess associated with liquid run off.
The dried paint is easily vacuumed up and disposed of.
This system works well and is fairly simple.”

A Little AquaFlow History-By +AquaMan+

January 12th, 2009 by admin

Aqua Flow colors were created in 1980, setting new standards in the airbrush industry. The colors are primarily used for textile art. Aqua Flow colors are equally used for illustrations on car tags, wall murals, sign graphics, fingernail art, cars, furniture, and canvas as well as a wide variety of other surfaces. Aqua Flow colors are flexible when dry and will not crack. Aqua Flow is a safe water based color pigmented with ultra bright pigments. The colors are professionally concentrated to provide unparalleled color saturation. The colors can be used full stength, diluted with water or mixed with any other Aqua Flow products.
